Architecting a Sub-50ms Real-Time WebSocket Telemetry Cockpit
Simulating high-throughput event streaming, distributed edge nodes, and reactive metrics visualization.

About the Prototype
Synapse is an interactive cockpit prototype exploring real-time telemetry streaming and edge health monitoring. Built to demonstrate low-latency event processing, it features simulated WebSocket ingestion, multi-region cluster latency tracking, and reactive time-series visualization.
Design Concept & Focus
Rendering high-frequency streaming events and dynamic cluster health maps without degrading browser rendering performance or causing UI frame drops during bursts.
Interactive Features in the Demo
Deterministic simulated telemetry engine generating real-time inbound event frames.
Interactive throttle controls allowing visitors to stress-test UI render rates from 100 to 10,000 events/second.
Multi-region cluster node map monitoring simulated ping times across Frankfurt, Stockholm, London, Virginia, and Tokyo.
Reactive time-series charts rendering latency curves and protocol distribution (HTTP/3, gRPC, WebSocket).
Key Specifications & Features
“Cockpits for high-throughput distributed systems require strict separation between raw stream ingestion and visual rendering pipelines. Throttling UI updates to animation frame ticks maintains absolute smoothness even under high event bursts.”
